Step1. Warm-up

1.     Free talk:

1)    How are you?

2)    What can you see in our classroom?

3)    What’s the weather like today?

4)    Do you like animals?

5)    Who is your best friend?

Step2. Presentation

Do you know “Who is Miss Ning’s best friend?”. Let me tell you. Miss Ning’s best friend is Petter, he is from Changchun. He has a farm. Do you know what’s the meaning of farm? There are many animals in it. Yes, you are right. Today, we are going to learn “ At a Farm”. Do you have any questions about this title? Let’s have a look. This is a part of Petter’s farm. What animals are there? “What are they? They are…. How many…can you see? I can see….” Look, what are they? Are they horses? No, they are donkeys. Teacher teaches “donkey”. T shows a picture of donkeys an asks “Are they donkeys?” and leads them to say “Yes, they are.” “Are they horses? No, they aren’t.”

Teacher shows the picture of Petter’s farm and describes it. After that, teacher lets the students describe their farms with the sentences given. Of course, they can talk freely.
